Great hotel, well located, clean and quiet. Room was very comfortable - extra pillows and towels available. Complimentary water upon arrival, and free use of the fridge. Room and bathroom were clean, and cleaned daily. Shower was great. Area is great as not too tourist-y, but still close to a busy high street with shops & food places.

Nice spacious and comfortable room.. check in as the Hotel Sonya at the top of the road. Just me and 10 Yr old daughter went and plenty of wardrobe space. Mini fridge in room along with safe. Good location next door to the Opera House. Approx 10 mins walk to Trevi Fountain and 15 mina to Pantheon and Spaniah steps. Good 20 to 25 mins walk to Colusseum. Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We rent room only to indulge in the many eateries and to explore. Ideal base for exploring the beautiful city of Rome. Highly recommended.

Stayed here over the Christmas period and as a keen traveller I wouldn't stay in this hotel again. The beds were springy and uncomfortable, heating wasn't working (AC) and the room small. Overall look of the room needs upgrading with amendments to make the stay pleasant. No long mirror, sockets were flimsy to use and a cupboard with unhygienic hobs and mini kitchen was an unnecessary use of space. The room had ample dust and failed in certain touches a keen traveller would require such as a powerful hairdryer, slippers and tea coffee supplies, considering there was a kettle present. Can see the appeal of staying here for a night not for the 4 nights over the festive period.

Excellent location-literally 30 mins walk maximum to locations Staff are very friendly, and extremely clean rooms, if a little dated in decor Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, so was a little dangerous Breakfast was nothing special and service at the cafe was slow But overall a nice place to stay

Booked through booking.com 4 nights in Sept. Late flight arrival so dark when arrived and as no name walked up and down the street into other hotels till spotted small brass plaque bell push. Should have remembered other review comments! Small 24 hr reception lobby. We booked a budget double room which was on 2nd floor front. Two single beds pushed together with small ensuite requiring limbo movements over the bidet for the shower. But to be fair this is as shown in photo. Breakfast room with 7 small tables and reasonable range continental cuisine, but never full during our stay. Reception staff friendly, rooms clean. Hotel appears to share the building with private apartments. For around 100 Euro pn hotel is fair value for Rome.
